This little graphic novel caught my eye just for the art style alone. It gives very simplistic retro vibes that makes it soothing yet engulfing to read. Plus the simple style mixed with bold pops of color throughout the story help keep your attention. I often caught myself staring at how beautiful the art and colors were. It was mesmerizing.
This story follows a young woman named Mia and her journey between her past and her future. Giving a glimpse of both past and present, you learn love and loss through her story touching your heart in the most gleeful yet somber way it can. Paired with the satisfying art, this is a must read.
