Self Journal

Updated: Sep 22, 2021

Best Self

Self-help, journal

This journal was brought to my attention when my boyfriend Xak came home with it one day. I was immediately captivated by the simplistic yet satisfyingly organized pages giving it a unique way to keep a journal, but a way that seemed the most beneficial. Then of course I wanted one too...so here we are.

When opened the box contains a guidebook to the journal for those who want to try it out but don't know where to start. The guidebook contains a checklist to complete as you read the book and get the full understanding of it's intended layout. Although it is also completely universal in a way that you can just jump right in and still have a useful journal. I personally enjoy the intended use of this little book which is a personal, self-written, at home 13 week program you do to achieve your "better self." The guidebook also contains a few habits you can pick up along with starting the journal to ensure that you are fully guided in your path to build healthier habits for your betterment.

The box also contains a small 91 day calendar you can fill out and help you plan/track your progress and gives you the opportunity to visually see your goal and your reward.

Inside the journal the first few pages are to get you set up for your little journey. You fill out columns and questions that help you figure out your goals and where you wish to be in 13 weeks. It also contains a bucket list of everything you want to try and achieve along with a habit tracker that you fill out every day to ensure you're following your path to your best self. I enjoyed the fact that everything was at the front of the book and some aspects of it required you to go back and keep an update; which means you have to keep going back and looking at your bucket list and your goals giving you that constant visual of your path to success.

The journal pages themselves give you things to be grateful for, the top targets and goals for the day, your mood, if you're keeping up with your habits, and plenty or more space to keep yourself organized but also making the journal fit for you.

I find that this is probably one of the most efficient journals for people, like me, with high functioning anxiety. You can find this journal at your local Barnes and Nobles or Amazon. I will include the links below.

Let me know in the comments if you plan on trying this journal out or have experienced the Self Journal already!
